    The directory /usr/skel contains the "dot" files (.login, .cshrc,
    .logout) that are copied to the home directory of each new user.
    On our system /usr/skel/.login will contain only 1 line:

	source /usr/maint/dot.login

    Thus the real default .login is put in /usr/maint/dot.login (we'll
    write that next).  Similarly for .cshrc and .logout.
