The following directories should be present:
	compress - from Usenet
	undump - from Usenet
	tex82 - the TeX82 distribution including METAFONT, LaTeX and BibTeX
	babel - the start of some foreign language stuff
	DVIware - The collection of drivers that used to be TeXdevices
	utilityfonts - mf source for various METAFONT operations
	cmfonts - mf source, tfms, and a basic set in pk format
	LaTeXfonts - the same for the special LaTeX and SliTeX fonts
	amsfonts - Cyrillic and new math symbols from the
		American Mathematical Society, compiled with old Metafont
		and converted to pk format.
		Also pk files, tfm files for the Euler fonts.
