.SH DESCRIPTION
\fIxadvise\fR displays a one\-line message on the last \*(lqline\*(rq of the
user's display.

On the IS68K,
if the user is running the GWS desktop instead of X,
then \fIxadvise\fR will improvise.
.SH OPTIONS
If the `\-b' option is not used,
\fIxadvise\fR reads from the standard input.
If the `\-s' option is used,
then the message is removed after the indicated number of seconds.
