.SH NAME
pktoch \- print out the contents of a packed format (pk) pixel file
.SH ORIGIN
TRW
.SH SYNOPSIS
pktoch pkfile chfile
.SH DESCRIPTION
.IR Pktoch (1)
prints out the bit map of a packed format (pk) format pixel file on the second
argument.
The output bit map is a readable ascii file containing a dump of the
information in the packed font file.
A dump of each character bit map is given so you can see the bitmap of the
characters. Ones in the bitmaps are represented by *s and zeros are
represented by periods.
Other information, such as the
.I x
and
.I y
offset are also given.
The format of a pk file is beyond the scope of this manual page.
