Uncomment the "BRAINDEADFLAGS=-lcrypt" in the makefile, and put the line: extern char *crypt(); Right after the #include lines in "pass.c". This apparently came from the makers of Xenix, about the availability of crypt(3): ======================== Subject: crypt in Xenix Due to the export restrictions on CRYPT, we do not ship it with the standard product.
