The alias table governs the handling of aliases, for
user names and lists.
.IP type
Specifies the format of the user name or address.
This value may be one of:
.RS
.IP 822
a remote RFC822 user address is specified
.IP x400
a remote X400 user address is specified
.IP synonym
user name specified. This name replaces the original alias.
.IP alias
user name specified. This name does not replace the original
alias.
.PP
\fBNote:\fR
"822" and "x400" specify remote aliases only
"synonym" and "alias" specify local aliases only
.RE
.IP name
A real, local, user name
.IP address
An address of a real user
