The \fIvaluemask\fP specifies which components are to be inquired and returned. The specified attributes of the search context will be returned in \fI*values\fP. Floating point values in \fIvalues\fP will be returned in the current floating point format. .sp \fIXpexGetSearchContext\fP can generate \fIBadSearchContext\fP, \fIBadFloatPointFormat\fP, and \fIBadValue\fP errors. .sp The \fIXpexChangeSearchContext\fP function changes components of a search context. The \fIvaluemask\fP and the \fIvalues\fP structure specify which components are to be changed. Each bit in the \fIvaluemask\fP indicates whether or not there is a corresponding entry in the \fIvalues\fP structure. It is therefore possible to modify one or many search context attributes with a \fIXpexChangeSearchContext\fP function. Floating point values in the \fIvalues\fP structure will be in the current floating point format. .sp \fIXpexChangeSearchContext\fP can generate \fIBadSearchContext\fP, \fIBadValue\fP, \fIBadFloatingPointFormat\fP, \fIBadPath\fP, and \fIBadNameSet\fP errors. .SH "Structures" See XpexSCValues(3PEX). .SH "Errors" .IP \fIBadSearchContext\fP 1i specified search context resource ID is invalid .IP \fIBadFloatingPointFormat\fP 1i device does not support the specified fp format .IP \fIBadValue\fP 1i illegal bit set in \fIvaluemask\fP parameter or a value in the \fIvalues\fP structure is out of range .IP \fIPath\fP 1i illegal or poorly-formed search path (includes invalid structure ID's, invalid element offset values) .IP \fIBadNameSet\fP 1i specified name set resource ID is invalid .SH "Related Commands" XpexCreateSC, XpexCopySC, XpexFreeSC, XpexSearchNetwork.
