shell-escape [ command [ arg ... ] ]

shell-escape
without any arguments forks an interactive subshell.  The shell is taken
from the your SHELL environmental variable, and in lieu of that a default
shell (typically /bin/sh) is
used.  If arguments are present mcp executes this command in place of the
shell.
.sp
Upon command or subshell exit, you will be returned to mcp.
