                                  DODUC

    The DODUC benchmark stems from a simulation program  widely  used
    in energy sciences, and is a big (5300 lines) application of Mon-
    teCarlo simulation type, with a very heavy computational and  ex-
    clusive sequential scalar processing profile. The DODUC is highly
    sensitive to cache size and completely dependent on fast or addi-
    tional mathematic coprocessor. It is also a good test, due to its
    _▶08◀o_▶08◀l_▶08◀d _▶08◀s_▶08◀t_▶08◀y_▶08◀l_▶08◀e fortran, although completely ANSI 66 and  77-compliant,
    about  the  quality  of the compiler: solidity and correctness in
    code generation, fidelity and accuracy at different  optimization
    levels... . The benchmark must be run in 64-bits precision (being
    very sensitive to numerical precision) and preferably with  opti-
    mization  on.  The  ratio  R measures the execution speed and the
    higher the faster.
