All files ending in .Z in this directory and its children have been
compressed.  If you do not already have the uncompressdir facility
available on your system, go to the ./compress directory and
make and install the appropriate files there before attempting
to read the files here.  Then run the program uncompress on any
single file, or run uncompressdir on the entire TeXdoc directory.

Re LaTeX Local Guide:  if you are going to make use of this as a
Local Guide for LaTeX users at your site, you should edit it so that
it accurately reflects how LaTeX is set up for your users.  It is
very likely that instructions for printing documents, etc. will vary
from site to site.
