The RC8000 computer
-------------------
  The model installed is an RC8000/45  with  128  kw  of  primary  store.
Typical  instruction time is 1.4 microsec and for floating point instruc-
tions 5 microsec. It is equipped with:

2    1 Mbyte drums + 20 Mbyte disc
1  128 Mbyte disc
1  600 lines/min printer with uppercase and lowercase danish characterset
2   75 inch/min magnetic tape stations 800/1600 bpi
32     terminal multiplexor channels 110/300/1200/4800 baud
1   75 characters/sec paper tape punch



Operating systems

  For the user there are two operating systems available:
sos
which is a timesharing swopping operating system for interactive use. The
user primary store is 15872 halfwords. Sufficient for editting, compiling
and run of small programs.

which is a batch operating system for several  users.  The  user  primary
store is 100000 halfwords.
