COMMAND DESCRIPTION
VOLS
List available volumes
SCREEN "n"
Sets the screen size for pausing (default = 20).
DIR "volume name"
Lists files in directory
DIR/P "volume name"
Lists files in directory with pause at the end of each screen.
HELP
Displays this file with pause at the end of each screen.
NULLS "n"
The number of nulls (0) to send at the end of each line sent.
(default = 5)
TIME
Displays time left and maximum time allowed
TALK "measage" or REM "message"
Allows user to send a message to the bulletin board.
DISPLAY "filename.TXT"
Sends contents of ASCII text file with pause at end of each
screen.
TYPE "filename.TXT"
Sends contents of ASCII text file without pause.
TRANS "filename.TXT"
Delays 20 seconds to allow user to open text file, sends contents
of ASCII text file and send end of file character when complete.
XTRANS "filename"
Sends file to user using XMODEM protocol.
KTRANS "filename"
Sends file to user using KERMIT protocol.
REC "filename.TXT"
Allows user to send an ASCII text file to bulletin board.
This saves the text file. User sends end of file character
when text transfer is complete.
AREC "filename.TXT"
Allows user to send an ASCII text file to bulletin board. This
appends to existing text file. User sends end of file character
when text transfer is complete.
XREC "filename"
Allows user to send a file using XMODEM protocol to bulletin
board.
KREC "filename"
Allows user to send a file using KERMIT protocol to bulletin
board.
DELETE "filename" or ERASE "filename"
Delete an existing filename.
BYE or LOGOUT
Logs user off.
Only the first 3 characters of the command need to be typed. The bulletin
board may lock out the delete, send or receive commands from user. If an
ESC (ASCII 27) is received during the following commands, HELP, TYPE,
DISPLAY, and TRANS the command will be cancelled.
