Since the intrroduction of a new widget sprocket, the corporation has
witnessed consistent expansion in revenues and profits. We have all
been pleased with the performance of the sales force generally, but the
New York offices have performed particularly well.
As there is now a vacancy for a sales manager in the New York office, I
have been examining the performance of the senior sales executives with
the intention of recommendation of sales manager.
Before presenting the reasons for my recomendation, the opportunity of
reminding you all of the importnance of consistent selection criteria
