ABSTRACT:
The "modify" task allows you to modify either a user definition
or a group definition on your system.

Form.modify:modify:User or Group
Enter either "user" or "group". If you select "user", you will
see a form that asks you to enter the login you wish to modify.
If you select "group" you will see a form that asks you to enter
the name of the group you wish to modify.

Form.modgrp1:modgrp:Group Name
Enter a valid group name or press CHOICES to select from a list
of all groups currently defined on this system.\n

After you press SAVE, a form will be displayed with defaults
taken from the group's current definition. Modify only those
	values you want to change.

Form.modgrp2:grpname:Group Name
Enter the name of the new group. It must be a character string
from 1 to 8 characters in length. It may not include a colon (:).
The group name must be unique (that is, it may not be the same as
a group name already defined on your system).

Form.modgrp2:grpid:Group ID
Enter the numeric ID to be assigned to the new group. The
numeric ID is a number that uniquely identifies the new group
to the system. It must be a number between 50 and the maximum
value defined for your system (32767).

Form.modgrp2:primem:Primary Member(s)
Enter the list (0 or more) of primary members of the new group,
separating each by a comma. Primary members belong to this group
when they log in to the system. The user definition for each
login listed will be updated to reflect the new group as the
	primary group.

Form.modgrp2:supmem:Supplementary Member(s)
Enter a list (0 or more) of supplementary members of the new
group, separating each by a comma. Any supplementary members
may execute the newgrp(1M) command after they log in and become
a member of the group. Enter either login id's or numeric user
	id's in this list.

Form.modusr1:modusr:Login
Enter a valid login or press CHOICES to select from a list of
all currently defined logins. After you press SAVE, a form
will be displayed with defaults taken from the user's current
	definition. Modify the desired values.

Form.modusr2:comments:Comments
Enter the name of the user, if you wish to modify it. It must
be a character string that does not include the colon(:). This
information will appear in the comment field of the user's login
	definition entry.

Form.modusr2:login:Login
Enter the new login for the user. It must be a character string
from 1 to 8 characters in length. It may not include a colon (:).
The login is the string the user types to log in to the system.
The login must be unique (that is, it may not be the same as a
login already in use on your system).

Form.modusr2:usrid:User ID
Enter the new numeric ID to be assigned to the user. This must
be a number between 100 and the maximum value defined for your
system (commonly 60000). The numeric user ID is a number that
uniquely identifies the user on the system.

Form.modusr2:prigrp:Primary Group
Enter the new primary group for the user. The value entered in
the primary group field may be either a valid group name or
numerical group id. Press CHOICES for a list of the group names
defined on your system. The primary group is the group assigned
to the user upon login. It gets associated with all files the
user creates unless the user has executed the "newgrp" command.

Form.modusr2:supgrp:Supplementary Group(s)
Modify the list of groups in which the user will have
supplementary membership. The values entered in this field may
be either valid group names or numerical group IDs. Press CHOICES
for a list of the group names defined on your system. You may
leave this field blank. The user may execute the "newgrp"
command after login and become a member of any of these groups for
the duration of that login session. No more than "NGROUPS_MAX"
groups may be specified in this field. "NGROUPS_MAX" is a
	parameter on your system.

Form.modusr2:homedir:Home Directory
Enter the full path name to the user's new home directory. It
must be an absolute path to a directory that does not already
exist. The default home directory is
	"default_base_home_dir/login", where "default_base_home_dir" is
"/home" unless you have changed it with the "defaults" task and
"login" is the new user's login. This field is limited to a
maximum of 256 characters within the login definition file
	(/etc/passwd).

Form.modusr2:shell:Shell
Enter the full path name to an existing shell program. It must
be an existing executable file. The shell is the program that
gets executed for the user upon login. This field is limited to
a maximum of 256 characters within the login definition file
	(/etc/passwd).

Form.modusr2:inact:Login Inactivity
Enter the number of days of login inactivity after which the
	user cannot login.

Form.modusr2:expire:Login Expiration Date
Enter the date beyond which a user cannot log in. This date
must be a future date and must be in the following format:
	dd/mm/yy or dd/mm/yyyy.

Form.modusr2:admin:System Administration Privileges
Enter Yes or No. Yes will enable this user to perform
system administration functions within this interface.
No will restrict the user from performing any
system administration functions in this interface.
