ABSTRACT:
The make task allows you to lays out file_system storage maps
and a root directory onto logical volumes.
The logical volume must exist in the 'voldesc' file.
To make the acces-node to the volume a previous call of the
utility 'mkvol' (or vol volnode) is necessary.
WARNING: If the volume is online the make filesystem will fail.
Otherwise the make filesystem will destroy the contents
		 of the volume.

Parameters as backup frequecy, extent size, and file system type
may be changed before creating. The default values are 7 days,
	8KB, and systemV.
The user will be provided with the option of mounting the file
	system after it is created.
TITLE:
Form.make:TITLE:
Form.make:F1:volume name:
Here you may enter the name of the logical volume, where to
lay out the file system structure.
The logical volume name must exist in the 'voldesc' file as a
logical volume. Too there must exist an acces-node to the volume.
Form.make:F2:backup frequency:
The backup frequency is the number of day between backups.
Form.make:F3:primary extent size:
Here you may enter the primary extent size in number of kilo-
bytes, the value must be a power of 2 and belong to the set
	(1,2,4,8,..,8192).
The primary extent size is the size of the very first block for
	a file.
This value will be ignored if the commen size for extent size is
	set.
Form.make:F4:secondary extent size:
Here you may enter the secondary extent size in number of
kilobytes, the value must be a power of 2 and belong to
	the set (1,2,4,8,..,8192).
The secondary extent size is the size of adding blocks when
	extending a file.
This value will be ignored if the commen size for extent size is
	set.
Form.make:F5:file system type:
The type may either be system V or BSD.
In the first case the ownership may be changed by the owner of the
file and the super user. The group-id of a file is set to group-id
of the process that create the file.
In the second case the ownership may only be changed by the super
user. The group-id of a file is set to group-id of the parent
	directory.
Form.make_now:F3:start making the filesystem.
If you enter 'yes' making the filesystem will start now.
If you enter 'no' you will return to the prevous frame.
Form.make_now:F4:Once created, should the new file system be mounted?
A "yes" reply to this prompt will cause the newly created file
system to be mounted. A "no" response to this prompt will simply
create the file system which will not be available for use until
	you mount it.
Text.mkfs:mkfs:result from mkfs (and mount).
Use the system administrators Guide to interpret the output.
