UNIX|STAT is a collection of about 25 data manipulation and analysis programs
written in C language and running on the UNIX operating system.
It has been distributed to over 300 UNIX sites over five years.

Due to the efforts of Fred Horan at Cornell, the programs have been
ported to the IMB PC running MS-DOS with the Lattice C compiler.
The programs are expected to be alpha tested at Cornell until Summer 1985.
We hope to be able to distribute floppies to beta test sites for
Autumn 1985, and have arranged for large scale distribution by 1986.

My hope is to distribute the executable programs for MS DOS on
three floppies with paper documentaiton by US mail for $20.
This is based on my expectation of finding a floppy-copy house
who will make copies and handle mail for a $5 per copy fee.
My hope should not be construed as an offer; lack of facilities
that minimize my involvement in distribution might make me
decide to not distribute the programs on MS DOS.
